Sessions to be held on “Competitive Edge of NRENs and Financial Sustainability”

Introduction:

Distinguished speakers from NRENs of Asi@Connect and GEANTT will speak about why presence of NRENs are obligatory for boosting research and educational activities of a country by identifying the services which are not covered under the ambit of traditional service providers. The speakers will also try to highlight the services that are being covered by respective NRENs and the Charging Model. They will focus on the Revenue and Expenses of respective NREN and will suggest a Financial Model for the sustainability of NRENs. The speakers might also suggest any other model which may help the NREN to stamp its footprint in fostering research activities in the R&E community.
